Who we are

LakeHost is operated by Castle & Clove Inc., Burlington, Ontario L7P 1M4, Canada. Questions or requests: hello@lakehost.ca.

What we collect

Only what you enter in the founding-list form: your email address, your role, where your rental is, how many rentals you have, your licence type (Kawartha Lakes page), your answers to the questions, any comment you write, and whether you agreed to receive emails. We do not collect information about your guests on this website.

Why we collect it

• To add you to the LakeHost founding list.
• To email you about early access, the launch and host rule updates, only if you ticked the consent box.
• To decide which features and areas to build first.

Where it is stored

Form submissions are stored by our website host, Netlify, Inc., a United States company. Your information may be stored or processed outside Canada, including in the United States, and may be accessible to authorities there under local law. Fonts on this site load from Google Fonts, which receives your device's IP address.

Sharing

We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers we need to run this website and send emails.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while you are on the founding list or a customer. If LakeHost does not launch, we delete founding-list information. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your choices

Every email includes a way to unsubscribe. You can withdraw consent, ask to see or correct your information, or ask us to delete it by writing to hello@lakehost.ca.
